Five days of features for Alistair Moffat

Alistair Moffat’s The Scots: A Genetic Journey is the subject of five features, one to appear every day in the Scotsman newspaper this week. We start the week with a magnificent double-page spread on the first Scots. Alistair is also on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on Wednesday morning, talking about the book with James Naughtie and encouraging him to spit into a sample tube on air, in order to get his own DNA tested. Alistair’s fellow author Dr Jim Wilson will be on Radio Shetland’s book programme on World Book Day, 3 March.
